The Foray to the Cotswolds 2026, my second tour with G&T Tours, was another dream trip for me. Charming gentlemen, plantsmen, historians, raconteurs…….Jason and Simon guide and accompany you during unbound drifting through plantscapes that are calming, enriching, and soul-filling. Seeing private and public gardens led by the head gardeners and, if fortunate, the garden owners themselves is an unforgettable experience. Whether you are a gardener yourself or not, this tour will give you so many ideas for changing the way you look at your own garden or a natural landscape. You don’t have to worry about cooking and cleaning, planning, driving, traffic, crowds, or access. The accommodations are beautiful, comfortable, and historic. The chef-made food is amazing. I highly recommend taking these incredible tours.

This was my second tour with G&T. It was a different part of the country and later in the season but had the same lovely feeling of being a privileged guest at an exclusive house party. The tour was hosted by two of the best raconteurs and shared with a small group of charming international guests united by a common interest in gardening. Add in some great food from an in-house chef and exclusive access to some amazing gardens and it adds up to an highly enjoyable week.

Thankyou Jason and Simon for a wonderful time in Dorset We felt very privileged to to visit some amazing private gardens . Your enthusiasm for the Dorset countryside was infectious as was your knowledge of local history . The Michelin star catering by Caroline and Claire was superb and delicious wines chosen by Johnny Boden very much appreciated For me the gardens were a particularly highlight and the passion shown by all the gardeners I also loved your repartee and entertainment whilst travelling We were a bit disappointed with the accommodation as it was not as described when we booked and we had a few issues with the rooms I do think that it would be better to limit the numbers to 12 preferably 14 at the most as the mini bus wasnt big enough for all I would love to return snd try a different time of year . It was a truly gorgeous experience and I will highly recommend it to fellow garden enthusiasts Pam Graham

This was a beautiful trip and so well planned and executed. I appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into making something like the Cotswolds Tour happen each day for five days. Splendidly done! Bruern Cottages and the gathering and dining areas was pleasant. The staff were incredibly nice. The daily chef was the best part of the trip for me. His flexibility was inspirational and that he used so much local food. I was one of the gluten-free guests and I never felt I was missing out on what routine people were eating. And Charlie was so fun at breakfasts. The luxury van was good, accessibility and temperature. I felt the tour number of 18 was too many. Your media specifically states that the groups are firmly held to 10 guests so I was surprised by the actual number. It was too many to use the van, to hear the guides at the gardens, or to keep us moving in a general direction. Because Simon was always in the additional car I didn't get to hear or learn from him. Jason did a good job with the van but only those in the front would learn from him. If you are going to have larger groups, and particularly of old folks you ought to use a sound system. You two are such fun people that the time spent with you makes the difference in the experience. It was unusual to not hear from G&T at any time beyond the initial registration and payments. I was unsure that I was truly registered though I asked for confirmation via email. I also tried to let you know about my special diet via email but got no response and it seemed to be a surprise to you and the chef that I was gluten-free. Jason and Simon, you are the magic that makes G&T run. The more time we got with you the better, but respecting that we were all people that needed down time. The pace of the tour was so good for leisurely morning starts, and quiet time until tea, and the dinners were not rushed. Your choices of gardens to tour was nicely varied and of good quality. I personally enjoyed Dean Manor, Kifts Gate, and meeting the chatelaine of Sudley Castle. Mary Wylie

Despite the heat wave, G&T tour provided a lovely week. From visiting beautiful and historical properties to delicious meals, snd nicely appointed accommodations, everything is taken care of. The guides have tremendous knowledge of gardens as well as the history of the area we explored. You spend your days with folks who share your passion for beauty in the world. I will consider taking another one of their tours and I recommend you do too!!
